About Us
Cedarlia is a chic boutique for design-lovers in search of unique and affordable hand made decorative accessories for the home which can also make a wonderful gift for special occasions or celebrations.
It's a haven for creativity where you can pick up items that will usually have people asking you "where did you get that" and a domain of inspiration for collection of accessories in their raw state all across the globe and infusing a contemporary feel to it so that it can suit our modern living. Cedarlia's mantra "Inspired by life, Created with love” is being driven by this belief.
It was the dream of Linda Norman to have a shop that will be able to provide its customers unique beautiful things that are not common. A passion also shared by Alex Ébousiez who has a background in image consulting and interior decoration and has been helping people of all works of life improve their persona and lifestyle.
Linda's background has been in the arts and design industry and being an avid perfectionist travels far and wide in search of hard to find accessories which in most cases are hand made to a very high standard. She works from her design studio in London and believes that creativity is achieved most when done in a relaxed and stress free environment. She splits her time between London and New York.
As her customer base grew, she introduced a mail order system in 2007 for her New York clients and in 2009 teamed up with Alex to open a store in Camden London to actualise their passion .And taking into consideration the feedback we've been receiving from our numerous clients, we finally have an online presence for Cedarlia which will enable us to reach out to a wider audience.
At Cedarlia, their customers recognise the immense talent involved in finding these unique items and giving it a modern feel to suit our modern lifestyle.
Our philosophy is to create a home with the help of our products that is breath taking in its simplicity and practicality. We are strong believers in home being where the heart is and gives an indication of who you truly are. The nostalgic feeling people have about their home stems from the key items they've acquired which are of great sentimental value to them and the way they've put them together to tell their story, we hope to be part of that story.
